When designing your projects you need to prototype them before they go into being manufactured or being built completely you will want to prototype the project to see if it works first. Here are 3 way of easily prototyping your projects.
BreadboardA bread board is a very useful tool when prototyping your projects It provides a tempary solution to build your project on and allows you to easily move components around as you can just insert the leads of the components into the board. although this is a good way of prototyping your project it is tempary and can be very easily broken if not handled carefully.

A custom made PCB is a good option for prototyping as it securely mounts all the components on to the board so there is no chance of it being broken when handled another feature of using a PCB is that it looks a lot more professional and you can add any information on to the board using silkscreen. although this is a neat and professional way of prototyping your project it is hard to change your design once the PCB has been made.

perf board is a fiberglass board that has a matrix of plated holes that you can securely mount your component to, but you will need to join up all your components with wire which can look messy is it is not done neatly. You can help yourself when working on complex circuits on perf board by using different coloured wires for different things. A downside of using perf board is that it is not easy to change the design once all the parts have been soldered into place.
