One day, I thought to myself:"Why are those security systems so expensive?", so, with a low budget, we are trying to create a security system that isn't too expensive and gets the job done. So, I came up with prototype A1, it is pretty bulky, then we created A2, which is less bulky than A1 but a little bit more complex. the idea is to have a app which gets notifications everytime it notices something suspicous, you can turn it on or off via a remote added in version A3.
If you want to link up the device to the app, enter a code on the device and then in the app, then press the # Sign on the device and then it should connect. (its a idea). Wifi needed on device.
You can actually use it as a small pc, due to the hardware being a arduino mega and a Raspberry Pi 3 B +. for update logs go to :https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTkS5yv2mxgmajkCK_ij8ew?view_as=subscriber
Currently, I am looking for people who are willing to do the code and help, but for now its purely design.
1 of the 4 USB ports is going to be used as power output for the arduino
PROTOTYPE B1-A:
Pro's:
Smaller and more compact, Lightweight, more capabilities.
Con's:
Heating Issues, Less quality and looks, needs to be plugged in from 2 ports (Micro USB needs to be plugged in, than the USB type B cable needs to be plugged in in the back in the type A Slots (Via the USB type A end) and then plugged into the USB type B Hole), Less Storage
Review:
It's Compacter and less bulky than Prototype A2, It does work a bit slower but its ok.
But because you need to plug in a cable in one of the 4 back ports, it takes away slots for USB Drives.
Some Q's you might ask:
Q 1
Q: Will this be sold?
A: We dont know yet, probably just a case for it so you can build it yourself.
Q 2
Q: When will it be done?
A: We are trying to get it done before the end of next year.
