Pre-Event Preparation

Timeline for Getting Ready:

- 6 Weeks Before the Event:
- Develop and test workshop content, including sample projects and troubleshooting guides.

- 2 Weeks Before the Event:
- Finalize the event agenda and distribute pre-reading materials, including basic tutorials on cellular IoT and the Thingy:91 X.
- Conduct a dry run of the workshop with a test group.
- Event Week:
- Assemble kits and transport them to venues.
- Set up workshop spaces with all necessary equipment and decorations.

Workshop Design

Participant Creations:

- Participants will build and program a cellular IoT device that:
- Monitors environmental data (e.g., temperature, humidity) using sensors.
- Sends the data to the cloud via cellular connectivity using Nordic Thingy:91 X.
- Interacts with a mobile app or dashboard for real-time visualization.

Engagement and Excitement:

- Hands-on experience with cutting-edge cellular IoT technology.
- Live demonstrations of practical IoT applications.
- Interactive challenges, such as optimizing data transmission or customizing app interfaces.
- Networking opportunities with fellow makers and industry experts.

For 20 Participants:

- 20 x Nordic Thingy:91 X devices
- 20 x Breadboards
- 100 x Jumper wires (various lengths)
- 20 x Environmental sensor modules (e.g., DHT22 or BME280)
- 20 x USB cables
- 20 x Portable power banks
- 20 x SIM cards with data plans (pre-activated)
- General tools (e.g., soldering irons, wire strippers, screwdrivers)
- Printed materials (e.g., project guides, troubleshooting flowcharts)
- 5 x Spare kits for unforeseen issues

Event Agenda

Day 1 (Brno):

- 10:00-10:30: Registration and welcome.
- 10:30-12:30: Introduction to cellular IoT and the Nordic Thingy:91 X.
- 12:30-13:30: Lunch break.
- 13:30-16:00: Hands-on project session: Setting up and programming the devices.
- 16:00-16:30: Q&A and networking.

Day 2 (Train Ride):

Day 3 (Prague):
