This project simulates a scan tool pulling codes from a vehicle either overheating, or has emissions issues. This was created as a start up to understand how scan tools work, and storing coding information. Eventually, I will be able to pull codes from a real vehicle using a self built scan tool. As a senior capstone project, I will build a scan tool and an OBD2 CAN BUS system for manufacturing facilities, to improve the quality of troubleshooting in the manufacturing industry.
