OpenMotics started as a hobby project and is in the mean time grown to a commercial product. However, our goal and mission is still to make home automation available to everybody. We want to achieve this by making it open and sell it at a reasonable price (but feel free to make it yourself - it's open after all).
The product is targetted at the European markets (where home automation is wired most of the time) and for people who are building or renovating a house. But everybody can use it so feel free to drop us a mail.
