About a year ago, I saw a TV program featuring an artist’s project that scanned famous paintings, turned the colors into numbers, and transformed them into music. It was so exciting! I began to wonder: what would the colors of my everyday life—the train I ride, the clothes I love, the flowers that soothe me—sound like if I could turn them into music? I dreamed of creating a tool that could make that possible.
This year, as I stepped into the world of electronics, I discovered M5Stack products and thought, Maybe I can finally build that tool! With some struggles along the way—but with the help of UIFlow and ChatGPT—I was able to bring this dream to life.
The small face on the display is inspired by Stack-chan, an open-source palm-sized robot developed by Shishikawa-san in Japan using M5Stack products. Stack-chan is what brought me this far, so I designed it this way with gratitude and affection.
How to use:While holding down the M5Stick button, the color sensor is active and reads colors. Move the sensor while pressing the button, and you can enjoy the changing tones as the colors shift.
